...voted in Arlington, VA this morning at 8:20am. The line was the longest I have ever seen. This is the Arlington Courthouse area in the shadow of DC. By the time the line snaked around the elementary school and through the gym, it was after 10am so it was nearly 2 hours.
People looked determined, respectful, young, well dressed and employed. I did not see any African Americans at all. A few hispanics and asians were there but the rest were white professionals. The whole affair was quiet, orderly and respectful like communion on Sunday.
