I have finished the training session and off to the polls. I have been assigned two locations and have been instructed on what observations to make. We are to be as invisible as possible and only observe and report to a special GOP hot-line in the event of irregularities. My polls are in the city with a very wide mix of peoples and surprisingly very GOP. I'll let you know about turnout soon.

My unofficial Halloween Poll shows a Bush win in one of LA County's democratic "bedroom" communities.

I made treats for the parents with Bush/Chaney literature, bumper sticker and candy. I passed out about 50 adult packets (I had 80) with only ONE disenfranchised Jessee Jackson follower asking if I had Kerry candy. (He also wanted my Halloween decorations!) All other adults were glad to get the "W" stuff.

I also had candy and Bush/Chaney stickers for the kids. The KIDS all wanted the stickers. One even exclaimed, "Oh yeah! A Bush sticker. Glad it's not Kerry!"
