I live in the Prunedale/Salinas area. The line was 50 people deep at 8:00AM. Last two elections there were only 5-6 people at that hour.

I just returned from breakfast, voting and little shopping,no lines where I vote, but, the punch machine kept jamming they fixed it (so they thought)by shaking it up and down. Yeah, right. I just moved the cards back and forth to make sure it punched a hole where I wanted it.
After exiting the booth, I mentioned it was past time we from San Benito County bought new machines. It was not very crowded, but I did notice that most who came in went right to the Republican side. Go BUSH & CHENY
