It was the juror who is a MD/JD that was chosen as foreman right? He wasn't the one that hung out with Falconer was he? They're all worried because they think he'll strictly interpret the law. But even by doing so i still think they can come to the conclusion of first degree murder. Too many premeditation factors can't be explained reasonably away. The "my wife is dead, first holidays w/o her", the cement anchors, and more that you might think of. They may say that buying the boat can be reasonable but if they think of the kind of person he is (high living) they could conclude that boat was not high class enough for him. So let's all pray that the other 11 jurors keep that guy in line. One other thing, Geragos did lie to them and try to manipulate them and nobody likes that, not even a lawyer can get around that.

Sorry, post 141 was written before I had finished my first cup of coffee. Just asking if anyone who watched LKL knows if it WAS said that the evidence they asked for was the pic of the laundry basket with Laci's top in it? As for jMD/JD juror, I think he was the REPLACEMENT for Falconer. I have thought about him "strictly interpreting" the law also, BUT maybe it will help in that he can explain that circumstantial evidence IS evidence and can help put it all together for any hold-outs. Also, the fact that he is a MD could help with baby Connor and the born alive theory......meconium still in the bowel. I know he is the one that took around 16 notebooks of notes. Obviously intelligent. I'm trying to remain positive about him.

I think it can cut both ways. As an attorney, he may hold the prosecutors to a higher standard than others. After all, BRD is somewhat subjective. On the other hand, he is smart enough to be able to see the "big picture" and put the pieces together (contrary to Justin Falconer who is as dumb as a box of hair, IMO). The fact that he was selected as the foreperson tells me that the jury sees him as an authority. Therefore, his opinion (whatever it is) may really influence others. Therefore, it's really bad news for the prosecution if this guy is for acquittal.
