The Bush girls are looking pretty happy, considering that they must of heard their Dad give that same stump speech about 200 times.
I watched the President give the speech at SMU last night live on CSPN, where I believe that photo of them was taken. The old boy must have been tired, but he fired up all his old friends in the Big D as he called Dallas.
Watching him, I was reminded of what a simple, decent man he really is. I thought about an article I read comparing Bush to Truman and it does seem to me that this race is between the plain speaking man of the people and the fast talking slick conceited fop. Surely the people will, in the end, vote for four more years.

Wish I could think it meant something good. Cameras catch many fleeting moments. Just yesterday, there were threads devoted to "Bush sounds sad!" and "Rush sounds depressed!" I don't know what to think, except that God is sovereign, and He will either give us what we need, or what we deserve.
I am praying it is the former.
