Call the Republican headquarters in your town. And or call the Voting Commission in your town.
It is illegal to set up candidate or party literature within a certain number of feet of a voting location.
In our state, it is 200 feet.
Don't let them get away with this; I'll bet they are there illegally.
Good luck with that. I can't find a number to call mine.
Hubby just called after he voted. Our neighbor signed the registry role and then asked if he could come back later to vote. The lady (precinct committee woman?) said he couldn't come back and vote later. He started acting up and saying "What? I've got to get to work. What do you mean I can't vote? I've worked precincts before and I always let people vote when they want." The lady said he had already signed, so he had to stay in line and vote now. He was causing a scene.
Some guy popped his head in the door, saw the long line, and left. Our neighbor started ranting that the other guy shouldn't be allowed to come back later and vote. The lady explained that he hadn't signed the ledger yet. Our neighbor was ranting some more.
I said that this explains why he's a Democrat. He's too stupid to vote. Hubby thinks they may have planned things like this so they can complain and cause trouble.
Are other people having trouble? This is a solid GOP county; however, we have orcs from Indianapolis moving in. I tried to call the county GOP and couldn't find a number. Hubbby said the polling lady was upset and trying to get through to someone but couldn't.
