Your map and your text conflict. The text says Michigan closes at 7, but the map says Michigan closes at 8.
WILL PEOPLE QUIT SAYING THE POLLS CLOSE IN FLORIDA AT 7 EASTERN! That is a lie that caught up the media last time in their blunder and likely cost Bush 10,000 votes in the Panhandle! Yes the bulk of Florida closes at 7pm Easter, but the panhandle is in a different time zone and does not close until 7PM CENTRAL (8pm EASTERN)... if any media outlet remotely thinks about calling florida before 8pm they are actively attempting to manipulate the election!
They cannot claim an OOPS this time.
Thanks for the post, Chad, but this map would be much better if it reflected the poll closings in local time. I know that isn't anything you did. :)
