The Bush campaign isn't counting on winning New Hampshire anyway. New Hampshire has never really taken to the Bush family. Buchanan beat George H.W. Bush there, and McCain beat George W. Bush didn't win New Hampshire by much in 2000. We don't need the state because the four votes we lose will be more than made up for by electoral vote gains in the southwest.

I actually expected to hear that Kerry had won "the Notch." He has been ahead in New Hampshire for some time.

Actually the polls have been steadily tightening to the point where it is a tossup/Kerry up 1, just like in 2000.

We might still win New Hampshire. It'll be close, but we have a 50-50 shot there.

But as you said, we can also afford to lose it.

Yeah, from what I've heard around here, the place is getting infected by a steady stream Massachussetts liberals. But I'll always have some gratitude for them for going to W in 2000. If they didn't, we'd of had Gore.
