Yes,their voting starts at midnight...always has done.They are VERY proud that they are this nation's first voters.LOL

The good people of Dixville Notch enjoy this premier position in the vast American electorate -- they always vote first in the nation's first presidential primary and in the November election, too -- because of one man who did not vote today.

Neil Tillotson died in 2001 at the age of 102. He was the longtime owner of the Balsams, a Grand Hotel-style resort where the voting takes place. Tillotson, who made a fortune in the rubber business and holds the patent on the toy balloon, bought the Balsams in 1954. His family also owns 15,000 surrounding acres and a rubber-products plant a short distance from the hotel.
