My Son May be Dead
Posted on 11/01/2004 5:38:38 PM PST by american_ranger
Tomorrow I and my wife will vote for George W. Bush. Tonight, I heard on the radio that an Army soldier was killed in an ambush in southeast Afghanistan. My son is stationed in southeast Afghanistan. I checked Fox news and they have an article about a US soldier killed and two wounded in a patrol near Orgun. My son is on a patrol near Orgun. I do not care if it is him, tomorrow we will still vote for Bush. God bless America and God bless President Bush.
I have not told my wife. She is worried enough that Kerry might win. She does not need this additional worry.

I'm praying it is not your son, certainly there are a dozens of soldiers patrolling that area.
I will pray for whom ever son it is.

Prayers to you and your family. I second those who hope no one was killed and the report is wrong.

God bless you and your family. I pray that you do not receive tragic news, but sadly one family will.
I only hope those whose loved ones have made the ultimate sacrifice know how much we are grateful and love them for what they do. We owe them more than we could ever give back.
Praying with you and yours, american_ranger.

My Jesus watch over all of our troops in harm's way. Bless and protect them now and always. Comfort this family as they await word from the front. We beg You to hear our prayers, our pleas and our cries.
