Isn't this the city that wants more ballots than they have adults? I smell something ugly.

I was at the Bush rally also - Milwaukee. Kerrys rally was a bust. An expected 20,000 was a mere 1200 at best. Go Bush!!!!

I think a voters card with a bar code scanner is the best solution to stop fraud. The card would not register the vote, just qualify the voter. Once the card is scanned and the voter signs in on the paper books, The voter proceeds to vote and then the voter is locked out with a cookie from further voting locations in that election. Or the central database confirms multiple votes from that individual and disqualifys the votes. Then refers the individual for criminal prosecution. That would stop voter fraud dead in its tracks IMHO.

A drivers license could be used in lieu of the card to allow for a misplaced or forgotten card. People normally have 30 days to change their drivers license if they move.
The registered voter rolls can be updated in plenty of time if the license holder follows the law. Maybe this is being done in some states? I don't know.

Of course, there are those dissatisfied people who want to change the laws after the fact because it is (sobbing) NOT FAIR!!!!!!

Barrett said the problem was the sheer volume of registration forms that were completed by groups conducting voter drives, with many forms submitted "at the last minute."

Which GUARANTEED that they would not be processed by election time. This was the game plan to create total chaos, 'voters' unregistered and therefore 'disenfranchised', and endless legal battles to 'count every vote'.

Isn't this obvious??

I didn't make it to the rally today, but my daughter and I just got home from the phone bank on Greenfield Av. The place was SRO with more calling volunteers than phones available. Lots of young adults and teenagers. The people we contacted are mostly supportive and suffering from election fatigue. EVERYONE will be glad when this is over.

We haven't seen much of your son's uncle here recently, if you are who I think you are. He called me with this story early this afternoon and I think he will be gone all night again. Milwaukee is a MESS. And a very liberal judge in Madison called the house very disgusted by what he perceived as blatant vote fraud here in Madison by his own party. And I am very proud to be your son's aunt.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing-- they'll have to prove who they are in order to vote.

Shoot, by myself I bet I could do a thousand tonight. They don't have the will to process.... for what reason?

More good news. The fraudulent ACORN registrations have gone nowhere fast.

11,000 screaming, enthusiastic, avid, Bush supporters were at the Rally yesterday and we stayed dry, unlike the 2000 bedraggled Kerry fans who showed up to hear Bon Jovi and see Kerry in his Carhart. It was great!
