Different times, different tactics, pure and simple.

THEN: NYC is an economic power center, and the WTC was a previous target of the islamofacists. DC is the center of political power.

NOW: OBL believes he has a chance of changing the political scene in this country without even the effort and logistics of a major terrorist act; he thinks he can do it simply with the threat of a terrorist act.

The thing that makes me very angry is the states which specifically paid a part in the 9/11 terror atrocity are all going for Kerry. Every. Damn. One.

California and Florida trained them and harbored them. New Jersey, Massachusetts and DC let them fly.

We stood by them; now they abandon us. They're cowards!

I'm convinced Kerry will win. The fighting spirit of America, the America that won a hard fought independence, the American that freed Europe again and again and again will lose.
