There were pastors that from the pulpit denounced Hitler and Nazism from the get go -- most notibly Deiterich Bahnhoffer (Excuse the spelling) he was mowed down with nazi machine guns in from of his Church in Berlin.
We are told of the 6 million Jews that went to the Nazi death camps there is another figure for Christains that were gassed electrocued backed in ovens and lowered in elevators in water and electrocute that number was 12 million.
Many know the story of Corey Tenboom (The hiding place) for their crime of hiding and helping the Jews the entire family was sent to concenttration camps all died there except Corey.
It is all too true that many Christains stood by on Chrystal Naacht but these were CINO's Christains in name only -- that comprise the largest parts of what is called the Church today.
Jesus said that in the Church that there would be wheat and tares. Now if in the day of Jesus and the Apostles when the greatest and most enlightened preaching was done there were tares -- how much of a higher present of tares and CINO's are there now when many churches do not preach and teach the Gospel but preach instead the watered down traditions and doctrines of men?
But even in the cold backslidden european conditions of World-War-Two amoung 200 million CINO's 200 million Tares that attended churches 12 million stood up and opposed the nazi's so much so that they were exterminated for their faith.
I was told years ago that that there is a memorial in Israel for the twelve million Christains that gave their lies on behalf of the jews and opposed nazism.
For the remaining CINO's the tares -- Jesus said that upon his return they would be gathered up first -- and burned.
Another passage Jesus said all that shall offend shall be removed first
Another passage Jesus said it shall be as the days of Noah -- where all unrighteousness shall be swept from the earth
These twelve million were hero's of the faith -- like our vets, like our war death their sacrifices giving up houses lands husbands wives and children should never be foregotten -- but then hey they were only Christains so what does it matter.
The real story is that the Church when the storm could of Nazism first surfaced did not double their efforts to chreach the Gospel and reach out to the young minds of their day.
When they didn't nazism did -- instead of church youth groups learning the love of God and Growing in grace there were the hitler youth that were filled with hate and we have seen the films of them playing on artillery pieces etc.
Today we have the same thing with the rising storm clouds of islam -- we have a complacent church that is filled with darkness self and the world that preaches a gospel of wealth and riches that build imperial palaces for churches and has their preachers ride in loaded lincolns and leer jets -- for these CINO's and tares everlasting judgement is waiting in the wings as they have fiddled for the last two generations the world has fallen notch by notch to islam. So what if a hundred million Christains have been slaughtered over the last four decades in africa the middle east and asia -- we are wealthy increased with good and have need of nothing.
What will these ministers say when europe and canada have fallen? What have they said as God was kicked out of our schools and out of government and out of society?
They talked some the talk but did nothing to stem the tide to fight it in politics is futile -- to preach the Gospel and change lives that what was to be done.
Darkness is coming to europe and then entire world -- darkness such as not been seen since the roman presecutions before Cristainity became a fashionable religion of worldliness. And a tool has been fashioned that shall show no pity to wealth or riches.
If you beleive you should fear these words -- there should be an unmistableable witness of the spirit in your gut that tells you this is so. If you don't beleive this is the time to get yourself right with God we have come to a lamentalble point in history where governments can be flipped in a moment -- the world trade center put America western culture and the Church on notice. Bush has responded but has the church? or as the writter lamented will they just sit by until muslims come for them?
They are coming.

I would merely note that Pastor Laurence did not claim it was 100%. He noted there were some who spoke out.
I'm glad the 12 million had some element of witness sufficient to assign them the 'guilty' label of being Christians of some authenticity. I pray we all are so 'guilty!'
