Why did the judge order the feeding tube continued? Was he just trying to delay her death until after the election?

If so, seems like it makes a mockery of the court system... Not that it wasn't a mockery already.

There are various appeals at this time. Governor Bush is appealing his Terri's Law battle to the US Supreme Court. Terri's parents and siblings have appealed Judge Greer's decision that they had no grounds to have a new hearing on religious grounds.

Judge Greer is at this time honoring the appeal rights of Jeb Bush and the Schindlers and has given Terri a stay. I don't know what Greer's motivation is but suffice it to say that I didn't vote for any of his friends who are running for local office. I have recently voted for those legislators who signed Terri's Law in addition to President Bush and Mel Martinez who support Governor Bush.

Greer is a Republican but he's feelin' some heat in Pinellas even though he felt emboldened after he was re-elected. His re-election doesn't entitle him to order the manner of someone's death however. That sticking point is an integral part of state and federal law.
