Freedoms Tavern update:

For those of you who were thinking about coming to freedoms for the election party please keep in mind that I have not found a good way to motivate time Warner to install the cable and we might not have TV by tomorrow night. We are reach in every other department. I even have the Hamburgers and Fries. Without TV however we are dead in the water. The landlord has dragged his feet at every turn and has helped put us way off schedule. I am hoping that things will work out but hope is not a method.

As for the web site well don't even get me started there. I have been trying to work with this guy who is supposed to be running this big operation and I can barely get him to do much of anything on time. hopefully he will get it done today. So much for 24/7 support.

PS. Thanks for all of the campaign signs that we have received.

Jim

Find out who the contractor is for Time Warner commericial business and call them directly. If your work order is in the rotation, maybe you can "persuade" them to move you to the top of the stack.

We have thought of a satellite but it is just too unreliable. Time Warner also has a great deal on fiber optic so we went with that package. We will be getting One gig up and down. That should be enough for times like election night where we expect (in the future) twenty to thirty computers at a time using the wireless network.
