OMG, my favorite scene!! "That was mighty fine pickin' and a-singing, boys. Now come on in here and sign this piece of paper here. I'm gonna pay y'all ten dolla apiece". I still LOL when I think about this scene!

What first attracted me to O Brother was the music. I bought the CD before I saw the movie. I am from Kentucky so I feel some allegiance to Bluegrass music, that said I hate 90% of Bluegrass music especially those that ain't old-timey. And I vehemently hate Country music...I'm a Lead Zeppelin, Stones, Pink Floyd kinda guy to put it into perspective.

It was the song Man of Constant Sorrow that hooked me and the hymns like Angel Dance and Keep on the Sunny Side that touched my soul.

Then I dragged my reluctant family to see it in the theater and we bought the DVD the next day.

One of the greatest movies ever made. Godfather, Wizard of OZ, Caddy Snhack move over.
