Does this church he spoke at ahve tax-exempt status with the IRS?...And if so, why?

There is nothing that prevents a church from hosting a candidate and letting them speak to the congregation. However, the minister or church leadership cannot specifically endorse a candidate or tell the congregation who they should vote for. There was nothing improper in this Keyes speech.

Somebody ping the Clinton-Gore Campaigns on this one...they campaigned at hundreds of churches...they can fill us in on the rules.
