Powell goes out of his way this week to say nice things about China/Taiwan specifically to avoid this situation. Introducing our next mortal enemy, China. Our kids or grandkids will be fighting them in the streets.

This is an overtly hostile act. I am going to sell my Chinese stocks tommorrow. There WILL be long term repercussions over this.

"Fighting Chinese in the streets?"
The streets of Bejing.
Looks like another Foreign endorsement of Kerry. Hmm, Friends of the USA. Israel, Great Britain, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Russia etc "We hope Bush wins"
Enemies of the USA. Iran, Cuba, North Korea, China, Bin Laden, Al Zawari, France, Germany etc "We hope Kerry wins"
Guess that is all any thinking American needs to know.

I'm sure all these foreign communists and socialists and murdering terrorist scum all coming out against Bush helps Kerry a lot.
They are somehow under the impression that they can bully the American people into choosing a weak-kneed Massachusetts liberal. I guess we will see what states can be bullied on Tuesday.

This is a great reason to put Bush back in the White House.
Their is an old saying "If your name is on the SH%T House walls, you know your doing a good Job!!
Bush's name has been on the SH%T House walls since before he moved in the White House. Remember the Clintonistas removing all the "W"'s from the keyboards. They should have prosecuted them !

China loves having demos in office because their military gets a lot stronger. In fact, they were able receive the technology to develop missiles that could hit any city in the USA after the last demo president.

Just a simple matter of poor fiscal policy, A lack of history, Some arrogance, Fiat money and little to sell to balance imports.
The well is running dry on our money and policy.
Would you sell oil to a poop head with a over drawn checking account?

Nothing in the article says this is China's offical position. This is basically the position of one man. I guess we should expect the liberal media to run with such a story.

Repercussions of not holding anything of value. I hope you don't convert to dollars.
Check out Goldmoney.com.
The dollar is dead. Might as well own post WWI marks.

No way. China's a one-generation wonder. Their pro-child-death policies have restricted each "family" to one or sometimes two children (exemptimg the "more equal" classes). They'll have an overly male-dominated society that will be dangerous for a while; the population of the People's Republic then will retreat rapidly because many of those males will not reproduce for lack of female counterparts.

Possibly true longer term, but expect a 4 cent rally in the dollar after Bush wins.

"...Qian Qichen, one of the main architects of China's foreign policy"
Hardly "one man".
We do not need to trade with these people, not the slightest bit. Taiwan can have nuclear weapons and announce the fact. And the present criminal leadership of North Korea should be destroyed. Then we can talk again about whose ambitions are beyond their capabilities. If they still aren't inclined to be reasonable, they can always try trading with the world through a complete blockade enforced by the US navy.

China? CHINA! The same China that put the N. Koreans in the nuke biz? The ones who with the Russians,French and German "allies" equipped IRAQ and IRAN and Libya? The same "toads" who are supporting genocide in the SUDAN?...for the oil they now so desperately need? You mean that CHINA? The China that has crushed Tibet?
You sure youre talking about that China?
Let's see. The ones secretly equipping Syria, Lebanon,Egypt and all those Islamofacist cells in between?

I just heard the whole China statement on Drudge Radio..and I am furious!!
I think I will add China to my Boycott list (along with my old and still on-going French Boycott)
I will not support a country with such a hostile attitude toward the US.
