The reason why the Dems are apoplectic is because the next President will get to pick at least 3 USSC Justices (and the Chief Justice). It isn't about Iraq. If a President Gore had invaded Iraq they would have rooted him on. But, they need those Leftists on the Supreme Court to determine that anything other than leftist tyranny is unconstitutional.

It's going to be a hell of a fight to get 3 conservatives on the Supreme Court. The Senate is controlled by Rats and Rinos.
It's going to make Iraq look like the cake walk that it truly is.
I hope W has at least one more good fight in him.
