I haven't gotten a call from -one- professional windsurfer supporting John Kerry.
As a Cowboys fan, Brett Favre has always been one of my very favorite players in the NFL.
Unfortunately the Redskins defeat is supposed to be a bad omen for the presidential election. If the Redskins win the last home game before the election, the incumbent party wins. Of course being a Dallas Cowboys fan, I hate the Redskins.
We got a recorded call from Bart Starr today here in Fitchburg. Although my mom answered so it might have been Brett (she doesn't hear too well).
LOL. I'm guessing that's John Hinderaker's yapping. (The Powerlineblog guys are awesome). Brett Favre, who has started 212 straight regular season and playoff games, and is 141-71 in that period (3 MVPs) doesn't ever "try to lose".
But living in MN, I understand the inconsolable bitterness of Vikings fans.
Brett's a man, a real man. He's voting for W.
Ergo, Kerry votes aren't.
is this the Favre who plays at Lambert Field?? :)

Bret's my main man, and one of the all time greats. I knew a great southern gentleman like him had to be one of us. And you can bet the Wisconsin papers will do everything they can to keep that info bottled up.
I live in Wisconsin. Received two calls tonight - one from Arnold asking me not to be a girlie-man and instead to flex my muscle on 11/2 and one from a college student asking for my Bush vote (kinda surprising, but encouraging). No Favre calls though. It's an interesting time here. We are inundated with ads from both camps, but the Kerry ads are bordering on illegal. Let the truth be twisted!
Indiana--Got a phone call Halloween night from Dale Earnhardt Jr. reminding me to support the Republican team.
Here in Iowa, I've gotten calls from both Laura Bush and Hayden Frye.
