FELLOW CITIZEN:

I am an American military Veteran. Many of us served in war. Some at the front, some at the rear. Others served at home to prevent war or to care for our communities.

Some recall World War II when men and women at home helped achieve victory. Unlike some in Vietnam, what people said and did at home supported our soldiers in combat.

Whatever the service, civilian or military, most of us do not claim to be a “hero” or a “celebrity.” Higher than titles or publicity - I am, like you, a Citizen.

We know leadership when we see it. It is not about political ambition or media hype. It is about steady purpose and loyalty to family, friends and community.

It is about protecting America, no matter how tough the duty. It is about giving every child a chance for their own part of the American Dream for which Veterans have made the ultimate sacrifice.

That is why I am going to vote to re-elect President George W. Bush. This matters beyond politics. Please vote with me.
