Also has Bush +8 among those already voting..
Kerry can't breakthrough 46. For months now that has been his ceiling. He can't get to 50, no way, no how. Bush can. And there aren't enough college educated folks to change it. I just don't see how Kerry can win the popular vote.
Read the rest of the article at your own risk! cBS is in ultra-spin mode!
But this is good news. Last cBS poll has Bush at 44% approval, now it's 49%.
It is. I remember the same poll being 49/49 in 2000 the night before the election
Is this the final CBS/NYT poll?
A poll by CBS showing Bush ahead? I love it! If that doesn't say Bush is going to win I don't know what will!!

Is this the actual headline?
Hmm, I heard is what Bush +15 yesterday. Lead is already disappearing?
This is FANTASTIC NEWS, for the most liberal of all liberal news organizations.
Anything from CBS favorable to Bush is good. Whats good to remember is that in all these polls, kerry at best is lucky to be tied with Bush. Only Bush has shown the ability to lead a poll by as much as 5 or more points. I don't think the election will be a runaway, but I do think Bush will prevail at a margin large enough to leave no doubt.
Three polls that came out today, had Kerry at 48%, or at least two.
It is good news. There is clearly movement in Bush's direction, and it pains the media to have to admit it. Just remember that as in football, political games are won on the ground - so get out there and work! And PUCK THE FUNDITS!
I would wish Bush were up 8 pts. But maybe this will turn out the base better, since everyone knows anything can happen. Funny how most of the tracking polls have ties, but the once-a-week polls have Bush with a small, clear lead. What say you pundits out there??

So, does anyone think so many new polls are showing prefect ties because the polling agencies have no idea who's ahead and don't want to be proven wrong come wednesday?
