I only read the Chronicle for coverage about my beloved San Francisco Giants. The rest of the paper is to lite my barbecue or my fireplace.

Voting straight party ticket would suit them just fine. It's the easiest thing to do for those who are too stupid to vote for individual candidates. They threw the "R" in strictly for decoration.

Nice picture. What's the story that goes with it?

Could it be that the SFC is somewhat biased? Nahhhh! They have been in bed so long with the RATs they are pregnant with baby RATs but they do have the possibility of abortion. This is one time I would agree that abortion is justified.

Another case of the OSM taking the easy way out. Instead of truly analyzing the issues, they go straight party ticket.

Tomorrow they will print a retraction on the lonely "R," saying they meant to list the "D."

Is the one republican running against no one from the left? I find that the Milwaukee Urinal-Trashbin only endorses republican candidates that run unopposed.

That one R is Steve Poizner. From his TV ads, I thought he was a Democrat -- "progressive," "environment friendly." If he's a Republican, it's in name only.

He's supposed to be a Arnold Republican. Though from my understanding, he is even further left then Arnold.
