Not to be a naysayer but won't this possibility hurt Bush? This has been predicted that our loved president would spring Osama Bin Ugly just before the election. Although I hope this is true!
Dems would wail with all kinds of conspiracy theories and would never accept Bush as a legitimate president, but I think it *would* help Bush and seal up the election.
I was hoping that if we found Bin Laden right before the election that we would be so ahead in the polls that we wouldn't even need that boost. Then Bush could then keep it quiet for a few days, and announce the Bin Laden capture at his victory speech, and he'd look magnanimous for holding the information until after the election. Unfortunately, this election is down to the wire.
