Our primary heat source is electric heaters. We have a huge propane tank outside that would cost a small fortune to fill it.

With the heaters and fireplace we'll be ok.

Here's a hint> in the winter I disconnect the tubbing from my dryer to the outside. It puts all the heat from the dryer right into the house. No wasted heat.

I haven't used gas heat in two years, it's turned off from the outside. I use a heat dish and stay warmer than when I used my gas heater. My gas heat is not forced air and when I turned it on it used to dry out the air so bad my nose would get plugged up.
