MARIETTA, Ohio - ...... Mr. Edwards said the "American dream" is on the ballot.

"I want you to assume you go in the morning to vote and you just dropped the kids off at school and you're late to work, and your car is about to run out of gas. You walk in to vote and you're in a hurry and you want to make the right choice. So you ask yourself, 'Over the course of the last four years, has my price at the pump gone up? Has the price of college gone up? Is George Bush ever going to do anything about this? Do I want four more years of the same?'?" Mr. Edwards said, as about 1,000 listeners shouted "No."

"Suppose you go in at lunch time. You've come from the doctor and you have a prescription slip in your hand, and you need to get it filled. But before you do that, you want to vote. You go in, but you're in a hurry and you want to make the right choice. And so you ask yourself, 'Over the last four years, have prescription-drug costs skyrocketed? Have my health insurance premiums gone up? Have drug-company profits gone up? Is George Bush ever going to do anything about this?" Mr. Edwards said as the audience shouted "No."

Kevin Madden, a spokesman for Mr. Bush's campaign, said:....

"John Kerry and John Edwards have never missed a chance to vote against the best interests of Ohio. Their dismal record on taxes, their hostility toward the Second Amendment rights of Ohioans, and their extreme defense of horrific procedures like partial-birth abortion are all instances where John Kerry and John Edwards put their liberal politics ahead of mainstream Ohio principles," he said.

I'm not sure what the title on this story means but I do know John Edwards has often made the case for lining his pockets, driving up health care costs for everyone.

What a crock! How can so many Americans have come to the point that they think it's government's job, and the President in particular, to make life easy for them or to solve their every problem from womb to tomb? Truth is we are paying the piper. For nearly 50 years we have tolerated government taking more and more of our hard earned money with the promise that vexing problems would be solved. Face it, government does NOTHING well or at a reasonable cost. Any problem government sets out to solve by using tax money, our money, is simply going to get worse. And the most depressing aspect of the whole thing is that we keep falling for it, election after election!

What is amazing to me is we have a Presidential race inwhich we have a clear cut unabashed LIBERAL ticket, which will not make a move on TERRORIST unless we're attacked vs. a conservative who is the first President in history to hunt these bastards down outrightly and shows he's been more than "compaassionately" willing to spend money on illfaited social programs and the figgin' thing is going to be a barn burner. (Actually, I think Bush is going to win by +5, but that's beside the point)

Iraq has to be the reason, and for people to even consider that John "friggin" Kerry will do a better job at ridding the world of this scum is beyond me!?

So you ask yourself, 'Over the course of the last four years, has my price at the pump gone up? Has the price of college gone up? Is George Bush ever going to do anything about this? Do I want four more years of the same?'?"

Ask your self this, too:
Has anyone hijacked a plane and flown it into a large city building?
Has anyone walked onto a bus lately with explosives strapped to their chest and pressed the button?
Has anyone taken over a school building and killed hundreds of my children and those of my neighbors?
No?

Then kick Edwards in the teeth and VOTE BUSH!

Let me make one other point. When you look at the polls on the question of who would be a better leader at fighting terrorism Bush is the clear winner.

Someone has not been doing a good enough job conviencing this country WE ARE AT WAR WITH TERRORIST!!!

Bush has not gotten people to recognize this fact, and that is why the race is so close. Most people do not understand WHY we are in Iraq, Bush just has not done a good job at laying out the vision so the majority of Americans clearly understand.

Let's try this scenario...
You are at work. Your kids are at home (they are old enough to stay home alone :-0). An escaped criminal has been sighted in your neighborhood. Which neighbor would you trust to take care of your children and keep them safe- Mr. and Mrs. Heinz Kerry or George & Laura Bush?

  1. Over the course of the last four years, has my price at the pump gone up? YES! Because the democrats have fought Bush's energy plan for the past 3 1/2 years and care more about the *&%^ing enviro-nazis and a few stinking Caribou than 200 Million Americans.
  2. Has the price of college gone up? YES! Because of teacher Unions, out of control Pension Plans AND colleges GIVING health benefits to the Homo lovers of staff personnel!
  3. Is George Bush ever going to do anything about this? NO! Because unfortunately it's illegal to round-up, arrest and to execute all democrat leftists for treason!
  4. Do I want four more years of the same? NO! I want ALL democrats, trial lawyers, Unions and gay nazis banished to Slobovia ASAP!
  5. Over the last four years, have prescription-drug costs skyrocketed? YES! Because of scumbag trial lawyers like YOU 'mr' Edwards filing frivolous lawsuits and getting scumbag ex-lawyer judges allowing these cases to proceed, resulting in pharmacuetical companies either NOT making drugs OR factoring in the cost of the idiot law-suits!
  6. Have my health insurance premiums gone up? YES! Once again a$$hole, because of YOU and your ilk!
  7. Have drug-company profits gone up? Who Cares! We are NOT a socialist country. We are Capitalists you jackass. Companies are supposed to make a profit!
  8. Is George Bush ever going to do anything about this (health care costs)? He's tried. But YOU and your fellow RATS keep holding up Tort Reform!

Kevin Madden, a spokesman for Mr. Bush's campaign, said:....

"John Kerry and John Edwards are anti-American communist pond scum."
(ok, he didn't say that, but I wish someone in the administration would)

~~ rant off ~~
