More likely MD 20/20. What most real alcoholics drink.""
I remember that stuff. Even as a silly stupid teenager I thought that it tastes like sh*t!!
You must have done poorly in history Nick or are very young. Just in my lifetime I can quote three examples of where this is not true.
Truman was forced not to run in 52 during the Korean War because he would not have won. Consequence, Eisenhower beat Stevenson.
In 68, Johnson was forced to bow out because he knew he couldnt win reelection. Result, in another squeeker Nixon barely beat Humphrey.
In 80 we were both fighting the Cold War (Russians had invaded Afghanistan and we pulled out of the Olympics) and we were essentially in a state of war with Iran who was holding our embassy personnel hostage for over a year. If you recall, we turned out Carter for a virtually unknown fella by the name of Reagan.
Im a little foggy on the real old time stuff, but its my recollection that Lincoln would have lost to the General McClellan in 1864 if Grant hadnt won a major victory in Memphis (Lincoln's October Surprise).
1. They polled lifelong Democrat areas?
2. They polled the Neville Chamberlain Fan Club where
they believe appeasement of terrorists and despots
really works?
3. They polled a group aligned with the endorsement of
John Kerry by Osama bin Laden (as in they hate
President Bush as much as Osama bin Laden does,
maybe more?
4. I am fresh out of ideas - - -
What's your product?
