The clock rolls from 1:59AM to 1AM in your time zone...no matter what time zone you're in.

But they get soooo much sunlight in Arizona they do not want to save any... They know about the Mountains being Standard but not seeing Mountains in Daylight...

No really, I mean it. I hate it when it gets dark an hour earlier at night.

I'm currently in the midst of my very favorite hour of the year -- because I can relive it, when 2:00 am EDT becomes 1:00 AM EST.

So what can I do with this hour? Jump off a skyscraper? Commit a felony? What the heck, it'll all be wiped out, as if it never happened, in a few minutes, right?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Usually I am, but I am always depressed when I set the clock back. The only good thing is sleeping an hour later, but that novelty only lasts a couple days.

I'm with you, we are moving into the worst part of the year. I can't stand it when it gets dark at 5:00 PM - it feels like the day is shot when you just get out of work.

Someone should make a nonlinear clock so that when the sun comes up it is always 6 am and when it goes down it is always 9 pm. Think how fast a workday would fly by in the middle of winter! You would work "8 hours" but it would seem more like 4. There would still be plenty of sunlight to do something outdoors after work.

Let's see. Right now I can get a full 18 holes of golf in if I tee off by 3:00 because it gets too dark around 7:00.

After tomorrow, I will have to tee off by 2:00 because it would get dark by 6:00.

Okay. I see what you are saying. When I'm President I will sign an Executive Order to make Daylight Savings permanent.

Woo-Hoo! You have my vote!
I really hate it when I go up north on business or to see family and the sun starts setting around 3:30pm. At least here in the south it stay above the horizon an extra half hour or so.

Looks like you got the very last post in to Free Republic before the clocks reset here in the East.

So at the moment it's the same time here and in the Central Time Zone, right?

[Mumbling to myself.]

I would truly be lost without Freerepublic. I don't trust to correct the correct info even from FOX.

I tried checking a few news websites, and did not see mention of Time Change for most of us.

Anyway, I post to myself rather than all... If someone wants to respond to one of these vanity or mumbling to myself posts, great. But I should not bother Freepers with mumblings to myself.
