That many votes, huh? I seem to recall Shannon county having only about 520 people, on a good day.

To most people reading this thread a few thousand votes doesn't sound like very many voters. But, Shannon County is about as rural as it gets. The county covers a rather large area though, people are just spread out. That county is, by the way, the one that was so late to count their votes in the 2002 race.
