Hi Doug,

This is my biggest concern. My son is trying to get through college and he wants to persue Special Forces. I have spoken to him about the possibilty of kerry winning. I would not want him to serve under a traitor. I say prayers for our troops each day and your son will be in mine as well.

God help us if this monster wins on Tuesday. God help us!

BTW, my best friend just retired from the army as a SpecOps 05 (LTC) and his son just graduated last year from West point and already has orders to Afghanistan with the airborne. So, yeah, young folks I know real well (I've known this buddy for 32 years, we went to high school and served together on the same post--but different units) are going in harms way for the next President. 2nd Lieutenants in the kids branch are being used for convoy duty in Afghanistan right now. My buddy is worried of course. He's saying Damn use me! BTDT already. But it's time for a new generation of warriors to save the republic. That's just the way it is. Doesn't matter who the CINC is, the job still has to be done and done right.
