The longest lasting effect of this election may be the complete destruction of the mainstream media oligarchy, leading to a reexamination of EVERYTHING THEY HAVE EVER SAID OR DONE.
It will start with Walter and the Vietnam War. His despicable lies and Kerry's treason will be the things that burst the damn (not a typo). The Blogsphere will dig, and dig, and dig some more. We will build second lives, or even careers, around ferreting out the truth and declaring it for the whole world. Their phony and self referential reputations, and even their lives, will be burned on the pyre of their lies exposed.
It will spill over into academia. The insignificant people who have tyrannized schools of "higher education" with their twisted, hate filled, evil little minds, will have their works brought out into the light.
There are millions of hours of film and tape. Billions of words in archives. Thousands of individuals with priceless true stories that have been ignored or suppressed. It will take discipline and structure. It will take care, lest we become guilty of the sins that they have committed. We must check and double check, then submit our evidence for critical review by our peers. And that means all of our peers, not just our natural allies. Our enemies, too, must be given a shot. For if we can weather their spin we can prove our point.
And the truth, itself, will be set free.
A call to action.
Nicely said, and if you read my last post, you know that I am quite serious about scrutinizing all MSM from now on. You know even if Bush wins, I have heard (Richard Dreyfuss on Michael Medved show) that the dems have already made plans to impeach Bush as soon as elections are over.
That will require much work and diligence on pajamahadeen to offset the leftist spin.
If Kerry wins, there is no reason to watch the news, it will all be bad.
