Could the "serious blood infection" be syphilis? I've heard that it causes major brain damage.

I suppose anythings possible, but it's certain that whenever someone goes on cardiac bypass they can end up with changes in neurological stgatus. IF there has been any change in his mental status(rather than just rumor) I'd think the timing is more suspicious for being "pump-head"

I don't know anything about Clinton's health, but if I remember correctly, syphilis comes in three stages: a sore in the private parts, which goes away, then painful and ugly blisters along the back and thighs, and then the disease goes into remission for about twenty years. In the tertiary stage, it manifests itself as a deterioration of the thinking processes. This phenomenon is sometimes surprising, in that the victim will become quite artistic, for lack of a better term, and full of all sorts of questionable but colorful schemes.
