One of the best kept secrets about heart by pass surgery is the high incidence of strokes after the surgery.
My wife's best friend had a severe stroke 6 years ago Christmas Eve. The by pass was successful, and she all most died from the stroke.
Six years later, she is still unable to talk except for a few words and still has problems walking and getting up. In fact she fell and broke her hip this past summer.
What is amazing is she can still play incredible bridge with a system we came up with and balances their checkbook to the penny. Her great mind is there, she just can't verbalize her thoughts and comments.

Well if true it is sad, but liberals are brain damaged anyway, so would we be able to tell?

Actually, it is well known that going on a heart/lung machine can cause minor strokes.

I wondered about this. I watched him speak and he does have a left sided droop to his mouth. Very very slight, but there.

Some Indian paper picked it up from the Enquirer.

Al Capone died of syphilis of the brain. When I heard that clintoon went to the hospital, ostensibly for heart problems, I speculated then and now that he has VD or AIDS. What was so interesting is that a day after clintoon went to the hospital, te-RAY-za checked into a hospital ostensibly for "exhaustion". Guess clintoon kept her up at nights.

Are they sure the brain damage is from the surgery?
It could be that clinton is suffering from syphilitic dementia.

I don't know about the syphilitic portion of the dementia but when Clinton walked on stage the other day there for a couple of seconds he had the same look on his face and more importantly in his eyes that my 85 year old father had, a few years before his death, as my father's lines to reality
slowly slipped loose.
