This will make lots of PP subscribers furious, but from the ones I know or am related to, it will not change their vote. They are already furious w/the StP mayor.

But give it a try. I will, but I am not confident it will have any effect except to generate more diatribe from those on the continuous IV Kool-Aid drip. I expect, instead, that these people will become even more anti-media and antiauthotitarian.

Nor did the Strib's endorsement of Kerry make a dent on us west-of-the-river conservatives, many of whom eschew it for the SPPP. I think the SPPP's endorsement will have more effect among suburban and outstate readers. For me, the most salutary effect is demonstrating that there isn't a monolithic liberal hegemony in the Metro-area dailies.
