Attention, Arizona FReepers in the Sedona area. We need you help to break the story about the Kerry less than honorable discharge.
On a thread from yesterday, it was said that retired Col. Thomas Lockhart had worked with the Sec. of the Navy and knew about the discharge.
I have located Lockhart in Sedona, AZ and have been calling him for about 24 hours. His phone is busy, probably to keep the press away.
I have his address. If one of you can send me FReepmail, I'll give it to you. Can you pay him a visit and get the story? The Col. needs to get the story on television.
I tried to stay up w/ that thread yesterday through 600+ posts but never got any confirmations...is it finally confirmed and will it hit the press at all??
I don't know. That's why I am hoping someone will go over there and speak with him.

The correct term is "Other than Honorable", often abbreviated OTH.

Doug, I live twenty minutes away from Sedona ... but I gotta think the guy just wants to be left alone. If he wanted to share the information (whatever it is, and we don't know if it's useful), he would have.
I don't like the thought of banging on some guy's door, and who knows if he's sympathetic? Even during the McCain-Daschle FReep at McCain's vacation home a few years ago, we stayed well away from the house.
That whole thread yesterday was confusing. Who knows what's really going on?
I appreciate your points. As I remember the thread, he did come forward to talk about working for the Sec. of the Navy and about the discharge. I believe he was overwhelmed with media calls. But heck, he should want to talk to FR, right?
