My mother's Catholic priest (he's from the Phillipines) has had 25 members of his family killed by Islamofacists over the past few years.

His sister was shot last week.

However, the Christian churches thrive on this kind of martyrdom and they will, without a doubt, get only stronger. Nothing drives people together like persecution. In this case, it's real, not our p.c. "victimization" persecuation complex a la women's/homosexual/minority vicitimization.
