France has placed so many of her economic eggs in the Middle East basket. From 1966 onward they embraced the Arabs. In 1973, they further advanced their military, nuclear, and energy trade ties with all the Arabs - who were aligned with the USSR and Russia. Today, French economic ties with the Arab world account for 30% of her total exports/imports. It was closer to 40% before Iraq was removed from this trade equasion.
The key to winning the war on terrorism lies with the total isolation of France economically, politically and militarily from her terrorist loving trade partners. To stop the Arabs and their bitter hatred of Jews and Democracy, it I must again reinerate that stopping France is paramout. This effectively halts the same crap at the UN.

Yes, I have many friends who are Persian and was surprised to know they speak French. I think France has been acting somewhat like a modern Colonial power.
I don't know anything about this writer, so I can't judge this as "support" as you claim, perhaps just a grudging admission that the jig is up, and screaming loudly and waiving a sword over ones head is no longer sufficient.
However, I see Kerry as the re-invention of Jimmy Carter.

I remember very well the hostage crises of Carter. I was at Ft Hood, TX and so relieved to see a real president take the reins and stay there for eight years. That same feeling was there, but to a lesser degree during the first Bush administration and then was totally absent until it was brought back by "W" in January 20, 2001. If a democrat is in the WH in 2005 we need to be prepared to see our rights destroyed and the level of attacks against us will increase ten fold.
Was McVeigh somehow paid off and what does Nichols know – this whole story is all wrong somehow.
The Arab News is published in Saudi Arabia for a Muslim audience. As far as Kerry goes, I'll never forget these words "peace begets peace, violence begets violence...." the world has never heard a bark since.
A Kerry administration would make Jimmy Carter look like a statesman. That should scare anyone into voting next Tuesday.

There have been so many since. The pope was shot by a Muslim, the Israeli Olympic athletes were murdered by PLO terrorists, Leon Klinghoffer was killed by PLO terrorists.
One thing is beyond question, only Bush has chosed to fight back. And there is NO WAY that the coward, John FONEY Kerry will continue this war.
We chose at our peril on election day. May God direct us to chose correctly.

I have thought this also. But this article really makes a compelling case against Kerry. That mash-note to terrorists, Kerry would think that was a great idea.
I used to like Carter, but the more time goes by the more I realize what a dangerous fool he was, and is. Paving the road straight to hell with his "good intentions".

History will see Carter as one of America's worst Presidents. Iran, terrorism, the Panama Canal, Samoza, Ortega, Nicaragua, oil, sovereignty, inflation, unemployment, the Olympics, the USSR....any subject you pick, he did it wrong. His term in office was one crisis after another. It took Ronald Reagan to straighten up Carter's mess.

I will tell you a brief story of the Zeitgeist, how real it really is. I was only 22 when Reagan got in the first time, I think I may have even voted for Carter, I don't think I voted the next time. I was working at Macy's and I remember walking out from work, it was right before the election. A very dreary fall day in NYC on 34th Street, which is always filthy, to this very day it is filthy there. And the hostages were still being held, the economy was in the toilet, inflation was out of control. And I had an awful feeling, I felt bad, ashamed, to be an American. It was just a fleeting thing, but it was so sharp, as I headed down into the subway to go home.
Had I been more poltically aware, had I been, say, Carl Rove!, I would have realized that Reagan was going to sweep into office, new broom in hand.
I was never a liberal, don't misunderstand, I thought Carter was a good Christian man, and I was young enough so that I didn't even associate my feelings at that moment with Carter v. Reagan. But I will never forget that awful feeling, certainly one I've never had before or since. And this is now, Kerry will certainly be Carter Redux. I hope there are others like me who had that Zeitgeist moment and who realize, we are not changing over to THAT weak horse in the middle of THIS stream.
I don't know if it really matters where when or why it is the way it is. If one really wants to get specific, about the ongoing battle of philosophies, one can go all the way back to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, where the influence of Satan was a factor in man's progression. Later, Satan influenced Cain to kill his brother.
From that point on there were those with allegiance to God, and those who pinned their hopes on the one who's job it is to thwart the plan of God through whatever means is available. So we have progressed (a slight oxymoron) from stones to nuclear weapons, in the battle for the minds of men. There are really only two sides to the coin, may we choose wisely.
