Sorry, but what is a moveable voter? Does that mean undecided? Sorry if that's a stupid question.

Incumbent in 2000 = Gore (close to incumbent as you can be, and the undecideds definitely swarmed to him at the end instead of Bush)

I like what Bernard Goldberg said about undecideds on Fox&Friends earlier this week...they should just stay home.
And, this kind of shoots the poop out of everyone's assumption that undecideds break for the challenger. It's not true in presidential races - and this year, they'll break even more to Bush on security.

Moveable = undecided = uncommitted voter.

What's neat is the fact that this is pre-bin Laden tape.
I think that will have a profound effect on undecided voters by putting everything into focus.

The "undecideds" are breaking 2-1 for Bush. That's not good news for John F*ckin', who will best be remembered for his money quote: "America, wake up!" (laughing)

Incumbent party then. I think there is a statistic that says Incumbents have a better chance then incumbent parties in returning, ie Clinton and Bush have better chance then Gore and Cheney. Not sure, but I am tired and stretching my brain to think of the stat!

Some actually decide in the polling booth. My aunt was like that in '96. She is a Democrat but said when she went to vote for Clinton her "hand refused to do it"...and she ended up with Perot. All the thoughts of Clinton's lies came to mind and it was about as last-minute as is possible. Strange but that may often be the case.

I saw the stats that it is not true..........but the MSM keep reporting otherwise. They are really frustrating........their agenda is sooooooooooooo obvious.

moveable voters = persuadable voters = swing voters = "undecided voters" = voters who are "leaning", but aren't enthusiastic
Just different terminology for voters who aren't strongly supporting a candidate.
I think these are people who were leaning Kerry, but when the chips are down, they realize that self preservation takes precedence over politics, and will be voting for Bush.

.Some of those undecideds are Dems who are trying to figure out if they can stomach to vote for Kerry. There may be die-hard liberals but there aren't so many die-hard Kerry supporters. But jumping over and actually voting for a Republican is tough.
A suggestion, if you don't know who to vote for, STAY HOME.
Lots of facts and quotes about the president-wannabe at the John F. Kerry Timeline.

There ARE still plenty of undecideds (about 1 in 11 voters).Hm....that's odd....because normally I consider 10 out of 11 people morons.

They only went to Gore because of the DUI story about Bush on election eve
