Parents with children in public schools should read her book The Death of Right and Wrong.
I thought I was tuned into what's happening in our school systems but I read her book and was horrified.

An excellent article. She is quite the wordsmith. She has a very clear focus on the paramount issue of our time. The thoughtful and powerful way she brought of the 3000 dead on 911 was quite moving. I pray she changes a few of those leaning to Kerry to vote for Bush. She has my respect. She has the ability to reason and view objective reality. She gets it.

I admire her, even though she really is a liberal. It's sad that she is a lesbian and a supporter of abortion rights. Perhaps God will change her heart about those issues, too, as He has about the others.

Tammy Bruce, Ed Koch, Roger L. Simon, Ron Silver, Randy Kelley and George McKelvey are among the growing numbers of 9/11 Democrats who have endorsed and intend to vote to re-elect President Bush. For them, America comes before party.

Perception isn't necessarily reality. Why would a militant feminist want to torpedo John Kerry's run for the Presidency?

Great article - thanks for the post!! I listen to Tammy Radio quite often. After I heard her the first day (she is on the Sirius Right channel from 12-3 Eastern), I checked out her webiste. Needless to say, I was totally blown-away that someone who shared my views on THE major issues of today is a Democrat, a lesbian, and a former President of the California branch of NOW. That being said, Tammy continues to be a favorite listen for me, as she understands what is at stake in this election.

Tammy Bruce is right. I may not agree with everything she says, but her articles hits it right.

Perhaps she'd like to live another day to argue the issue with you.Perhaps. Or perhaps she'd like to help increase the chances of a certain Senator being nominated as the next Democratic presidential candidate 4 years down the road.

And while he is also wrong on some issues, if I have to work harder on social issues, I want it to be against a man whom I can admire, who I know, despite our disagreements, honors me in his work to keep this nation free and great. The heart of the matter.
Or as Cartman put it, "The Founding Fathers wanted us to disagree as long as we all agreed that America kicks a**!"
I accept Ms Bruce's challenge on social issues secure in the knowledge that while we may bicker over which way we want the county to go we both sincerely want what we believe is best for this country that we both love.
In the case of kerry and many other democrats I can not say that.
