It's for real. They are as crazy as OBL. I can't get my mind around why they are for the terrorists.

I suppose it's because terrorism is cheap news for them, news they don't have to make up.

For some reason I did click the link at the top of the thread and looked over a few of DNCBS's stories. Talk of things tightening, trending for Kerry, all of that.

The fact is, throughout the past month there have been only a couple of national polls that put Kerry ahead (though still inside the margin for error), there has been only one, ever, that put him at 50%, and of the current national polls, he leads none of them.

Nobody knows for sure, but nobody ever does. The polls sample sometimes around 1000, though often fewer, "likely voters" among those who answer the phone out of the whole country. Their model of America doesn't account for a lot of things going on these days that can skew that. At our house, we use call blocking and caller ID - we block unidentified calls and we don't answer calls from numbers we don't recognize. That's just one example of the complication of attitudes and technologies that tend to dilute the value of polls - they are becoming more "self selecting" every day, whether we like it or not (and I don't really care).

Like the whores that they are, they will do what they must to sell their services, and just as they vet, weigh, and select the responders to obtain the result they think they should be getting, on November 3 (or whenever it's all settled) they'll hold up their best work of the year in front of the the media and political consultant industries to sell their useless product for yet another political season.

Bad week for Bush my ass.
