Here's the way it looks to me. Osama has popped up just now in hopes of a) influencing the US election like Al Qaeda did Spain's and b) being able to claim he/they did so if Kerry wins, whether or not his reappearance does so in fact.

If Kerry now wins, Al Qaeda will probably start claiming that the US is surrendering on the war on terror, which would put Kerry in a very tough spot if he was a man of character, because he would then be on his honor to quickly hunt down and capture or kill Osama. But being a waffling fake, Kerry will not be able to do so, will not even try in all likelihood, and the world will virtually be back to September 10th, 2001.

US policy wrt world terrorism and its accomplishments so far will be in vastly better shape by the mere fact of George Bush winning this election and the world prestige of the US with George Bush as president can tolerate the continued existence of bin Laden much better than a Kerry administration could.

If at all possible, I think the Bush campaign should find a way to put the gist of this into a last second nationwide appeal to the American electorate not to vote for Osama bin Laden's preferred presidential candidate.

Kerry is Osama's man, Bush is mine.

the National Democratic Party should be proud of itself for getting the endorsement of a man who has declared war against our country.

This is the Ultimate Democratic return to the 60s---Kerry's Time. Back then, the Dems and Kerry endorsed the enemy. Now, 40 years later, the enemy endorses Kerry and the Dems.

I’ve read the transcript several times and compared it with his previous tapes and here’s my take. The tone of this message is different from the others and many of the things he says and refers to just don’t really make sense. Maybe it’s only a poor job of translation, but I suspect that Usama didn’t come out at this time with a disjointed and ill prepared message for the American people. I believe he just might be sending an encrypted message to his followers, and we will find out in the next few days exactly what he has told them to do.

Oh BTW will Saudi and Egyptian newspapers now stop trying to blame Israel for the 9/11 attack since Bin Laden overtly states he was responsible?
