CONGRESSIONAL DEMOCRATS vow to expand Iraq contracting probes if Kerry wins. Majority House Republicans haven't scheduled additional hearings, staffers for the minority say, while the Pentagon has stymied document requests. "We expect that a Kerry administration would be very helpful," says one Democratic aide.

Thank god they have their priorities in line--no announcement that they will broaden the war on terror, pursuing EMD...they'll go after AMERICAN WORKERS AND BUSINESSMEN!!!!!

Yes, they would cost some corporations some money and inconvenience, but y'know what? I basically don't worry about this. If they find that Halliburton or some one else played fast and loose, OK, fine them. No big deal.

The election will be over, so there will be no political ground to be gained; and if GW loses, this will be the least of our nation's problems.

But considering Edwards's background I imagine they would not be satisfied until they sued Halliburton into insolvency.

Heh-heh. Halliburton survived the asbestos sh*tstorm; they can take care of themselves.
