People were turned off when Bush Sr. called Clinton "crazy" late in the campaign.
Kerry just made the same mistake. He's still campaigning as if it's the promaries. Undecides don't care for that intense nasty partisanship. Moreover, Kerry is now promising to make the lame walk, have no military errors while he's president, even down to the individual soldier-level...
Done.

Not like this was a hard prediction to make.

The Democrats are angry that despite pulling out all of the stops including a massive media (theatrical, broadcast, and print) push, international "input" as we have never heard before, coordination between the DNC and the MSM, 527 runarounds to the "new" campaign finance reform, vandalism and violent protest... the number have NEVER put Kerry in a solid lead.
They are going to wake up next week with a smashing hangover. President Bush has "hurt" America's prestige among the nations of the world? How about 2 solid years of DNC sponsored trash talking?
At one time we "were" all Americans. The DNC has divided this nation ("One nation, under Clinton, with hatred and envy for all).

he predicted that kerry would find a way to blame bush for OBL video...delighted to see that uncharacteristically Bush was already all over this in his speech just ended in Ohio - quoted General Tommy Franks saying that Kerry is ignorant of the facts - we had reports of OBL being in several countries at the time, not clear that he was in Tora Bora at all - also quotes Kerry himself at the time saying that we were going about hunting OBL in an intelligent and effective way - this tape is the next best thing for Bush to catching OBL himself on the eve of the election, as one talking head said tonight on TV.....

Actually he called him Bozo the Clown, Press ate him alive by saying it was unpresidential and that Bush didn't treat his opponent with the gravitas of a potential leader of the free world.
GO BUSH. This OBL is good for Bush.

Heard this on Rush today... I agree 100%! Thanks for the link. I want to send it out.
To: lancer256

In 1992, all we had was Rush, the American Spectator, and the National Review. The press could outshout all of us and handled every indecisive Bush volley with ease. Clinton's old pal Perot, from Texarkana, came along to steal the libertarian GOP vote and the deed was done.
Now we are the ones shooting down Kerry and the media's pathetic volleys. Feels good don't it.

" the number have NEVER put Kerry in a solid lead"
Exactly. People can say polls don't matter all they want. But they are worhtwhile--even sloppy ones--IF there are enough of them, to show how candidates are trending.
Look at RCP. Out of about 70 national polls, Kerry led in less than 10.
To: Mortikhi
"Well, if Bush hadn't let him get away in Tora Bora..." Well, what if Clinton wouldn't have let him get away when OBL was handed to him on a silver platter by Sudan?
What about that, Mr. Kerry? We wouldn't have had 9-11, and you wouldn't be able to use this to criticize Bush.

Well, if he wants to figure it that way, "If Clinton hadn't turned down Sudan. . . "
If we had bacon, we could have bacon and eggs, if we had eggs.
Living in the realm of "IF such-and-such had happened" is no place for a President and Commander in Chief to be.
