I agree with Morris that Kerry is playing into Bush's strength here on national security...the more the race focuses on terror and security, the more appealing Bush is.

Considering Morris's track record, I was kinda hoping he's pick Kerry to win....

I'm always nervous when Dick Morris predicts an election. He is often wrong.
He's often good at analysing specific tactics and effects, but doesn't excel at the big picture.
Bin Laden wants to effect the election but he couldn't send a bomb like in Spain.
I heard Morris and also chuckled at the Farenhype ad that immediately followed his appearance -- the one with Michael Moore repeatedly saying THERE IS NO TERRORIST THREAT. Timing was perfect.

That's a worthwhile point. Apparently no threats of imminent
attacks either, in contrast to his mini-me wannabee's tape
earlier this week.
At any moment, I expect Madeleine Halfbright to begin

Team Bush (and, I suppose, everybody else) cannot have failed to "wargame" a last-minute OBL video appearance. Be interesting to see what goes down now.
I think the tape is just more propaganda and don't see the terrorist actually "doing" anything - I could be wrong, since I am human - but they haven't really established their "muslim" force here in the US yet - and until their population grows and gets established - the Terrorist would be stupid to do another "attack" - Think of the anger it would bring against the muslims here - and it would give President Bush help in this election -

It was interesting to watch Racicot (sp?) toss his responses up to the White House. The Repub pols will handle this lightly, elevating it's importance beyond politics.
This tape is a gift to Bush in that it rises above the campaign rhetoric and focuses everyone on REALITY.

So I wonder if OBL taped his Kerry endorsement from a basement cell in Langley, VA.
