Kerry is picking up some great endorsements:
Osama bin Laden
Yassar Arafat
Maybe he'll get the rest of his buds to throw in with him:
Kim Jong-il
Bashar Assad
Ali Khamenei
Hu Jintao
Robert Mugabe

Well, I don't think Bush is at a disadvantage vis-a-vis the bin Laden tape. Joe Piscopo was on Neil Cavuto. He said he's a Kerry supporter, but this tape makes him want to vote for Bush. "How dare that SOB try to influence our elections!"
That will be the reaction of a lot of people.

Wow, you can see even the physical resemblance! I wonder if they are related? or maybe John Kerry is masquerading as Osama Bin Laden?!!!!

If the Kerry campaign tries to spin this in any way, they're going to get bit bad. Having said that, I think it's true of the Bush campaign, too. Bush doesn't have to spin it. He just needs to play to the awareness of the American voters of his war on terror, that he's eliminated many al-Qaeda members, and that we have to continue to fight them there or fight them here.

Kerry is picking up some great endorsements: Osama bin Laden Yassar Arafat All he needs is Kim Jung Il and the New York Times for the Grand Slam.
To: San Jacinto
Mark Raciot (sp) on Fox right now, says the campaign will not respond to tape. Response will come from the President/Gov't.
To: singfreedom; All
Anybody come up with Kerry's most likely response to this?
My guess: Had we not outsourced our national security to Afghan warlords at Tora Bora, had we not diverted ourselves in the Iraqi quagmire, we would have have captured or killed Bin Laden-- the mass murderer of 3,000 Americans.
Goodness, the alliance between the Left and our enemies is ongoing. The Arabs know who we are, better than we know who we are. And who we are is a country susceptible to this tape and the demagoguery of the Left.
To: sinkspur
Bush doesn't have to spin it. He just needs to play to the awareness of the American voters of his war on terror... Exactly right. By "spin" I meant this notion that somehow the tape constitutes an UBL "endorsement" of Kerry.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
If he were stupid enough to attack the US on our shore in 1982 when Reagan was President, we would have a lot less terrorist today to worry about.
To: Bassfire
Wow that was quick!!! /:) raised eyebrow
To: sinkspur
I would say Bin Laden has answered that pretty explicitly. He all but produced a Kerry/Edwards campaign sign!

The infidel Bush is the first infidel since the infidel Herbert Hoover to lose jobs! Awake from your slumber, America! The infidel John Kerry has a plan. You can do better, Insha'Allah!"

"This does not add up, this sounds fake.
Why would he care if Bush "mislead the American people????
Now he's concerned about about us being mislead???
Doesn't add up my friends."
On the face of it, it sounds like he's setting us up for what's to come: a massive pre-election hit. And he wants to make sure everyone understands that it'll all be Dubya's fault when it comes. As in, "You poor misled American sheep, you follow Bush, you die. Don't blame me when your cities blow, blame him." Then off will go the stunned sheeple to vote for Kerry, who'll nuance them to safety. My take anyway.

Rhetorical question: will Michael Moore be embarrassed that bin Laden is taking a page out of his book?I'll bet he's bursting with pride.
I am serious.

Countdown for how long before we hear the dems blame Karl Rove for setting this up to make Kerry look bad? Let them. They can explain how Rove made Osama sound like he's campaigning for Kerry.

I agree. This whole communication doesn't ring true to me. It doesn't make sense. There is more to it than meets the eye.
What a strange, strange world we are living in these days.

Fox at a rally saying President Bush will speak on it shortly.
I'm not following what you mean by saying Bush is at a disadvantage. I'm not seeing that, no matter what the Kamp Kerry spin is.
Oh---wait, James Rosen said President Bush made taped remarks a short time ago to the reporters with him and they will be released shortly and played.
