Anyone else have a Marine being deployed with 2MEF? My nephew will be going over with 2nd LAR, his second deployment to the sand box. His first was with 2/2 attached to 1MEF. Personal email contacts will be acknowleged by me. I hope I am not being out of line. But feel this site would not mind us family members of Marines heading over to the the sand box to make contact with one another. Semper Fi .........all.

I am a Marine Uncle too. My nephew, Justin, is a crew chief in the HMM-264. He flies the CH-46E. The HMM-264 (Black Knights) is part of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Aircraft Group 26. Justin was is Mosul during the initial invasion in 2003. His service committment was to be completed in April of this year. He agreed to extend so that he would have another deployment in Iraq. They need him and he wants to go. God Bless all of our troops.
