CFIF Launches 'Litigation Watch 2004'
Center for Individual Freedom ^ | 10/29/2004 | Center for Individual Freedom

In anticipation of one of the closest and, indeed, most litigious presidential contests in U.S. history, the Center for Individual Freedom today launched Litigation Watch 2004, the definitive online clearinghouse for the status of and up-to-the-minute news and analysis about election-related litigation in key battleground states and across the country.

"The 2000 election laid the groundwork for this year's presidential contest to be the most litigious in our nation's history," said Jeffrey Mazzella, the Center's Executive Director. "When one considers the fact that it's still October and at least 35 lawsuits, challenging everything from ballot design to voter-registration fraud, have already been filed in 17 different states, to say that this election may be decided by the lawyers could be the understatement of the year."

Thanks.

I talked to a reliable man about an hour ago. He told me that a lawyer he knows in the next county (OH) has a 38-page brief ready to file on wed Nov 3 if Kerry does not win.

Now, what went wrong on Nov 2 in that county requiring a law suit? Let's see: nothing has happened, yet the 38 page brief is ready to be filed . . .
