True, it's entirely possible that's the case. I don't have knowledge of military matters like that... BUT...

It's also entirely possible that this person, whoever it is, might consider the importance of this information getting out and preventing (or helping to prevent) someone like Kerry becoming president MORE important than whatever ramifications he might face for doing so.

Does that make sense? I think I rambled.
