At what point do you stop becoming a Newbie ? Is there a magic number ?

Apparently you're no longer a newbie if you signed up before 9-25-04.

Really ? Someone told me that you had to have signed up by 1998 in order not to be considered a newbie.

Oh, well, I signed up on Sept 11 of this year. Guess I'm a newbie.

Some of us consider anyone who signed up in the new century to be a "newbie."
