Let's say that Volkler's report uncovers a pattern of theft, bribery etc. that leads directly to Kofi Annan, and I'm sure it will...then what? They can't be prosecuted because of diplomatic immunity. Sure we should pull out of the UN and kick them the hell out, but it's not going to happen. Volkler needs to go a step further and provide recommendations for how the UN will be held strictly accountable for the Oil for Food and all future programs.

What about the socialist's answer to the law -- the great International Court? Could they be tried there????

Your right but the problem is, is that the major offenders are permanent members of the security council who will never let the truth come top light
